This is the rough draft of a tune to be in my upcoming musical revue, On The Road. This is just piano, vocal and drum loop, with solo humming . Would love to get ideas on arrangement. I categorize this tune as folk-pop-gospel

I really liked the melody. I racked my brain trying to figure out which song it reminded me of; then, I realized that “parts” of your melody reminded me of “Puff the Magic Dragon.” Your song would work well in a church setting leading into a prayer time. At the end, it seemed like your vocals started to put a little more feeling into what you’re singing. I would put a little more dynamics into pitch change at the end–raising your volume and pitch at the end. You did a little–I’m just saying a little more–I know you posted that it is a rough draft. Again, i really like the melody and feel of the song. Thanks for posting.
Yes, it recalls ‘Puff’ to me as well. Very spiritual.
Nice music, your vocals have a Cat Stevens (or who ever it is now) feel to it. It does remind me of a certain unnamed dragon.
