Good song. the guitar is great but, I can’t hear the lyrics very clear, I have the same problems with my songs. I just don’t have a strong enough voice but you’ve got a good strong voice just turn the music down a little.other than that great song!!
Overall – terrific job. Mix is pretty good to me, I can hear your vocals pretty well – although I have a different setup than Toney Wright. Mix sounds mostly mono – due to the way you mainly centered everything. I’d pan the different mic’d instruments and leave your vocals centered (except for the harmony voices – go left and right slightly off center). How many mics did you record your percussion – sounds plain and mono due to the micing I believe.
I enjoyed the song a lot. Nice job.
Well it was live and it still not mastered or final mixed I should have added.
The title is rather offensive personally and I will leave it at that.
Listen to the lyrics. It is about the destiny of a western legend. It is about the fate of the poor tree..lol
Country rockabilly….cool stuff! As Toney said maybe back down the guitar a little. I was expecting to hear some chicken pickin’ but the guitar you got works. Great song!
I hear some Drive-By Truckers, with some Cross Canadian Ragweed influence, and I never tire of that!
I like the story and the title. Works very well with your sounds.
Great song, love the guitars. The lead guitar is pretty epic, nice big sound and hairy tone! You’ve got lots of elements working for you here, voice, well damn, I like it all. Sounds like the band’s tight! No weak links.
I’m interested to know where you guys are from. Sounds like somewheres within a 500 mile radius of me.
