Iridophobia — fear of rainbows (yes, it’s really a word, despite what your spell-check says).
This piece seeks to capture the energy of King Crimson’s starless period. Enjoy.
Clintsythe for some reason your music didn’t load. Check your song so I can listen to it.
Should load now!
I’m walking into a dark cave, and my flash light goes out. I’m so far in that it is hard to see the way out, I stumble, I get stressed, i panic for several minutes, then I calm down and start to get hold of myself. I think I know which way to go, i feel better for a few minutes, then i realize I’m lost and I get stressed again, I start to feel hopeless. Then I think maybe, I can try to walk in an ever enlarging circle, hoping that I do not fall off a cliff, I have new hope with my new idea. i try it, after a few moments I see a faint light, i follow the light, i think. . .”no big deal” it’s over!
That is what I was inspired to think as I was listening to your new masterpiece! I don’t know what to say as a critique, cuz I loved this one.
Yeh, I know, rainbows don’t happen in caves! But I’m not afraid of rainbows!
Thank you, Gord. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
dude if you’re not already doing movie work you should be. big fan of your stuff
Thank you for listening, Kess. I appreciate your support.
REALLY TENSE. This sounds like a chase scene or a fight. That snare starts to grate after a while (maybe subtly switch up the style of it throughout the piece?) but those weird rhythms and the bass and everything, really cool.
Thank you, Rembow. I think that snare is an eq issue. I’ll have to find and trap the offending frequency.
Very nice. This would work great in a film.
Thank you, GW.
Wow! What a journey! Thanks for sharing. Great stuff!
