I believe that I have wings to fly but right now I just take the bus
Me and boss been living on cheap wine but it doesn’t seem to bother us
I’ll be parking my sports cars and writing my memoirs
like nothing this world’s ever seen
when my destination catches up with my dreams then I will be Mr. Clean

Pleased to meet you pardon the mess my other life’s in the shop
But leave your name and your address and I’ll send a postcard when I reach the top
I’ve been thinking big and living small I guess there’s no in between
But when My destination catches up with my dreams I will be Mr. Clean

I had a little too much fun last night, I probably should get some sleep
instead of laying here holding my head making promises that I can’t keep
If lady luck never shines on me I guess what you get is what you see
But when My destination catches up with my dreams I will be Mr. Clean
When My destination catches up with my dreams then I will be Mr. Clean

“When my destination catches up with my dreams” is a very thought provoking line! Makes you think about your own goals and dreams. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing. Bob

This is a nice easy going song. I like the guitar and the chord arrangement a lot. Very well thought out. Great job!

I really can’t think of anything that may make this one any better. I love it. Laid back song. Feels good! Great Job!!!!!

Clever, well done, nice chord progressions and evokes a bit of melancholy. My one criticism is that your vocals are slightly pitchy at times. Some of your lyrics made me chuckle. One thing that is a little puzzling (and maybe it is because I’m a little slow), what exactly do you mean by “Mr. Clean”?

Hey thanks for the feedback. If the singing is only a little pitchy then I must be improving 🙂 The line “Mr. Clean” is a bit ambiguous. You could take it to mean whatever you want: whatever your ideal you is.
